Changes outside Open Enrollment need a qualifying event. Marriage, divorce, birth or adoption, a change in a child's dependent status, a death in the family, or a change in employment or other coverage. You must notify Human Resources within 30 days of the event.

Your premiums are pre-tax. Health, dental, vision, and certain supplemental premiums are deducted before taxes under the Section 125 cafeteria plan — which is also why mid-year changes are restricted.

Who's eligible: full-time employees, plus your spouse and children up to age 26 (or older if unable to support themselves due to disability).

Turning 65 or Medicare-eligible? Contact Brandon Kress at (954) 667-9197 or Yoni Bick at (954) 663-9687 for help with Medicare Parts A & B, supplements, and prescription drug plans.

Pick the right place for care. Telemedicine (under $50 average) and convenience care (~$90) cost far less than urgent care (~$170) or the ER (~$2,000). Save the ER for true emergencies.
